Marko Söder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thor Ekgren in the 13th minute of play. Thor Ekgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marko Söder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Odeen in the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Malmö FF's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Odeen came free, but Marko Söder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Svågertorp FF's Marko Söder threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Thor Ekgren, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 68th minute, one of Malmö FF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Malmö FF. Marko Söder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eric Odeen went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Malmö FF booed when Svågertorp FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lennart Åkesson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Thor Ekgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eddie Ek went to the wrong direction when Valentin Apelkvist was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. If Thor Ekgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Eric Odeen came up free with the goalie in the 101st minute, the Svågertorp FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Odeen couldn't finish the play.
