Spectators: 7293 (Terracing: 5472, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 144) Laxå's Per-Åke Vacker started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Viksjöfors's goalkeeper Kurt Påk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 5 minutes into the game, Frans Sefastsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laxå's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Viksjöfors the free kick. Frans Sefastsson hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Tobias Johnsson made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Mårten Forsberg sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mårten Forsberg got free with Tobias Johnsson in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sven-Ove Kråk kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Kurt Påk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Åke Vacker, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. If Sebastian Sjögren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sebastian Sjögren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Påk having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Sebastian Sjögren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laxå's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Sjögren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kurt Påk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Åke Vacker in the 34th minute of play forced Viksjöfors's goalkeeper Kurt Påk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Viksjöfors's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Sjögren came free, but Kurt Påk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Per-Åke Vacker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurt Påk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Sjögren in the 45th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Viksjöfors's Alf Bröms sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tobias Johnsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Dick Billock hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Sebastian Sjögrens short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Kurt Påk to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sebastian Sjögren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Viksjöfors's goalkeeper Kurt Påk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timmy Stigsson. In the 67th minute, Mårten Forsberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tobias Johnsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Tobias Johnsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Bröms, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jarl Christoffersson kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Greger Hultman hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. When Laxå's Per-Åke Vacker in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Viksjöfors's goalie prevented a goal. Laxå's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
