Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Leksand BK's Vilgot Fribäck started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henrik Västerberg got free with Karl-Erik Borre in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 8 minutes into the game, Vilgot Fribäck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Karl-Erik Borre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 11th minute, Vilgot Fribäck fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Vilgot Fribäck came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Leksand BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vilgot Fribäck couldn't finish the play. Osvald Westerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Arvidsson having to interfere. Vilgot Fribäck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Erik Borre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Anderstorp IK's zone, Henrik Västerberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Erik Borre came out of the goal and Henrik Västerberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Vilgot Fribäck kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Karl-Erik Borre. That made the score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. A collision led to Leksand BK getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Michel Albäck hit a great ball. Henrik Västerberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Karl-Erik Borre firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Leksand BK booed when Anderstorp IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mats Vestberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl-Erik Borre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilgot Fribäck in the 34th minute of play. When Mats Vestberg fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anderstorp IK's protests and gave Mats Vestberg a yellow card for diving instead. Mats Vestberg kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the game, Henrik Västerberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Karl-Erik Borre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrik Västerberg in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Erik Borre saved Anderstorp IK from getting behind. When Leksand BK's Vilgot Fribäck in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Anderstorp IK's goalie prevented a goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sten Danielsson to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Leksand BK's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Danielsson came free, but Jonatan Arvidsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Leksand BK booed when Anderstorp IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mats Vestberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leksand BK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Anderstorp IK for a fine match.
