Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fengersfors FF's Bengt-Rune Jansson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fengersfors FF's Helge Hedkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gottfrid Lööf in the 6th minute of play. Helge Hedkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calle Sellberg in the 14th minute of the match. Dag Flink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Jansson in the 19th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Calle Sellberg in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Helge Hedkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Helge Hedkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Calle Sellberg's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. If Bengt-Rune Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bengt-Rune Jansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dag Flink having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Calle Sellberg made a kick off. 61 minutes into the match, Fengersfors FF's goal looked a bit too open when Calle Sellberg came free, but Helge Hedkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 0-3 became the score in the 78th minute when Calle Sellberg elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calle Sellberg in the 87th minute of play forced Fengersfors FF's goalkeeper Helge Hedkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 90 played minutes Örnsköldsvik FC got a freekick which was hit by Mark Ekenberg. When the final whistle went the supporters of Örnsköldsvik FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Fengersfors FF side.
