Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Folke Söderström took the kick off in the first half of the match. Albert Högman took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herbert Wallin. Herbert Wallin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 8 played minutes Dannike got a freekick which was hit by Joel Kullander. In the 9th minute of the match Hubert Trulsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karl-Ove Sjödin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Henry Hjelm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henry Hjelm struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Karl-Ove Sjödin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grangärde FF. Gustaf Fransson kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Christer Fredriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Karl-Ove Sjödin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Folke Söderström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henry Hjelm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. The supporters of Grangärde FF booed when Dannike was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Kullander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herbert Wallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Högman, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half Dannike were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albert Högman made a kick off. After some careless play in the Dannike defense, Henry Hjelm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl-Ove Sjödin. The Dannike fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl-Ove Sjödin should have stopped the shot. Henry Hjelm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, Folke Söderström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Henry Hjelm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Henry Hjelm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henry Hjelm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Ove Sjödin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Hjelm in the 67th minute of play. Birger Höijer kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th match minute, Dannike was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Högman to maneuver through the defense. Joel Kullander kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Folke Söderström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl-Ove Sjödin was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 84th minute Albert Högman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Wallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Grangärde FF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Albert Högman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 91 minutes into the match, Dannike's goal looked a bit too open when Tord Christoffersson came free, but Karl-Ove Sjödin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Grangärde FF's Henry Hjelm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl-Ove Sjödin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Grangärde FF players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
