The audience thought a goal was coming when Vilgot Wassenius got free with Isac Ahlqvist in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thomas Svanberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Hedling, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After a rather tough play, Köpmanholmen BF's Folke Ekeroth got a free kick in the 32nd minute. If Jakob Karlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Vilgot Wassenius got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Hugo Hedling made the kick off in the second half. Vilgot Wassenius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isac Ahlqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Jakob Karlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 60th minute of the match Marcus Hamnberg completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Marcus Hamnberg a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Köpmanholmen BF! The goalkeeper, Thomas Svanberg, was totally fooled by Dala-Järna IF's Valdemar Stor, who 62 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vilgot Wassenius in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isac Ahlqvist saved Dala-Järna IF from getting behind. In the 75th minute of the match Valdemar Stor sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thomas Svanberg skillfully saved the ball. If Vilgot Wassenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jakob Karlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thomas Svanberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jakob Karlsson in the 83rd minute. If Hugo Hedling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. Thomas Svanberg came out of the goal and Hugo Hedling tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
