Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Grangärde FF's Folke Söderström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Herbert Wallin came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Isbergets IF's Urban Nilsson. But to his dismay, Urban Nilsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Sixten Lingren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Bruhn in the 10th minute. Elliott Enegren's late challenge caught a Grangärde FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elliott Enegren helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Isbergets IF getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Elliott Enegren hit a great ball. Josef Axelsson charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Josef Axelsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Josef Axelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Herbert Wallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Bure, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Isbergets IF's attentive Isaac Ek managed to snatch the ball when Börge Rosén made a throw-in in the 24th minute of the game. Herbert Wallin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Bure, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urban Nilsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Wallin having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Isbergets IF got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Ek. Isbergets IF's Sixten Lingren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Isbergets IF from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute, Linus Engström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, Folke Söderström reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sixten Lingren. The goal made the score 2-2. Christer Fredriksson charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christer Fredriksson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Urban Nilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Urban Nilsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Sixten Lingren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christer Fredriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Sixten Lingren came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Grangärde FF's Folke Söderström. But to his dismay, Folke Söderström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. A collision led to Grangärde FF getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Christer Fredriksson hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Isbergets IF's Isaac Ek got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute, Elliott Enegren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sixten Lingren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Hjelm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the game, one of Grangärde FF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Herbert Wallin, was totally fooled by Isbergets IF's Richard Ekelund, who 98 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.
