When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Dennis Rosen took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Karl-Ove Sjödin to make any attempt to save it. Vilgot Wassenius's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Karl-Ove Sjödin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Jan Vacker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albert Högman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Thomas Svanberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Svanberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Högman in the 26th minute of the match. Dannike's Albert Högman got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31stth minute of the game Albert Högman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Köpmanholmen BF's Thomas Svanberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 33rd minute, Jan Vacker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomas Svanberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Jan Vacker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vilgot Wassenius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Karl-Ove Sjödin made a huge save. Dennis Rosen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Karl-Ove Sjödin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilgot Wassenius in the 55th minute of the match. Dennis Rosen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Ove Sjödin having to interfere. In the 79th minute of the match Karl-Axel Pihlberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karl-Ove Sjödin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Köpmanholmen BF's Vilgot Wassenius got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Jerry Söderström kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Köpmanholmen BF's Thomas Svanberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Köpmanholmen BF from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Köpmanholmen BF had won after a very even match.
