Spectators: 6694 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 5) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Christoffer Browald took the kick off in the first half of the match. Christoffer Browald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute Henry Hjelm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonny Björkqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Henry Hjelm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sonny Björkqvist. Floby RK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henry Hjelm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Henry Hjelm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henry Hjelm in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sonny Björkqvist saved Floby RK from getting behind. Håkan Andberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Herbert Wallin made a huge save. If Christoffer Browald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Folke Söderström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sonny Björkqvist having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Floby RK's Rikard Colin got a free kick in the 30th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Grangärde FF's Hubert Trulsson tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 35thth minute of the game Folke Söderström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Floby RK's Sonny Björkqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 37 minutes, Folke Söderström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grangärde FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Folke Söderström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Floby RK's goal looked a bit too open when Folke Söderström came free, but Sonny Björkqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Floby RK booed when Grangärde FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Bruhn didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henry Hjelm in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sonny Björkqvist saved Floby RK from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Rikard Colin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grangärde FF's Folke Söderström was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 58th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 65th minute Folke Söderström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonny Björkqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sonny Björkqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folke Söderström in the 69th minute of play. Floby RK's Tomas Berg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 71st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Grangärde FF. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoffer Browald in the 73rd minute of play forced Grangärde FF's goalkeeper Herbert Wallin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henry Hjelm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute of the match George Öman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sonny Björkqvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Grangärde FF's zone, Håkan Andberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herbert Wallin came out of the goal and Håkan Andberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christer Fredriksson hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Sonny Björkqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Folke Söderström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henry Hjelm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Sonny Björkqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grangärde FF's Folke Söderström got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Grangärde FF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
