Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Olov Alberg kicked off to start the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Karlskoga's Olov Alberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernt Täman. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. Stig Sörman hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Ingmar Nordstedt was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 13th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Karlskoga booed when Vackfors IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernst Åström didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Olov Alberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ian Vidman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st match minute, Karlskoga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Arne Åström to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd match minute, Vackfors IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernst Åström to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th play minute Ian Vidman came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bernt Täman. 2-0. When Sven-Arne Åström came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Karlskoga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Arne Åström couldn't finish the play. Olov Alberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Bernt Täman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Ian Vidman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Magne Törnqvist made a kick off. Ernst Åström's late challenge caught a Karlskoga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernst Åström helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Vackfors IK getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ernst Åström hit a great ball. 53 minutes into the match, Vackfors IK's goal looked a bit too open when Olov Alberg came free, but Bernt Täman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 minutes, Georg Svartengren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vackfors IK and the Karlskoga players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th minute, one of Vackfors IK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vackfors IK. If Olov Alberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ian Vidman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernt Täman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Bernt Täman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Alberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Bernt Täman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olov Alberg's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. The supporters of Karlskoga booed when Vackfors IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernst Åström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernt Täman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Vidman, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osvald Dahlberg during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Osvald Dahlberg hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Olov Alberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernt Täman having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Vackfors IK's Felix Paulin threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Magne Törnqvist, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Olov Alberg came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Karlskoga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olov Alberg couldn't finish the play. If Ian Vidman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 97th minute, Olov Alberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Karlskoga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Karlskoga walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
