In the 10th match minute, Säve FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Arvidsson to maneuver through the defense. Hubert Flinck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Hök, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rudolf Bröms charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rudolf Bröms the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th match minute, Dannike IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudolf Bröms to maneuver through the defense. Jens-Ola Dalberg in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hubert Flinck, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jens-Ola Dalberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Hubert Flinck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ludwig Holm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christoffer Abelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jarl Siggesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patrick Hök was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joar Ahlrot got free with Jarl Siggesson in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joar Ahlrot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarl Siggesson having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Stig-Arne Gustavsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edwin Apelkvist hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Victor Vestberg, 68 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Christoffer Abelsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jarl Siggesson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Dannike IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Ola Dalberg came free, but Hubert Flinck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dannike IFK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Christoffer Abelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarl Siggesson having to interfere. When Tobias Pihlberg fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Säve FF's protests and gave Tobias Pihlberg a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Dannike IFK booed when Säve FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Pihlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Dannike IFK's Ludwig Holm in action when he in the 95th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance!
