Hemmingsmark IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joakim Smefeldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Joakim Smefeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hemmingsmark IK's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Bergren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Hemmingsmark IK getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Arne Trulsson hit a great ball. Uno Malmström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Karl-Åke Bergren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arne Trulsson hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Sonny Brun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Hemmingsmark IK booed when Swedish House Mafia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvald Kuse didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Uno Malmström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl-Åke Bergren. Hemmingsmark IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Uno Malmström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5.
