Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, The Zlatibras's Martin Ekström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl-Åke Bergren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 49 minutes, Jonathan Svensson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Zlatibras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Svensson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The Zlatibras's Torsten Fransson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save The Zlatibras from getting a goal against them. Joakim Smefeldt struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Torsten Fransson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hemmingsmark IK. Karl-Åke Bergren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Klintæus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Åke Bergren came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by The Zlatibras's Andy Klintæus. But to his dismay, Andy Klintæus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Eric Fribäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eric Fribäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andy Klintæus in the 97th minute of play forced Hemmingsmark IK's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Bergren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The The Zlatibras supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hemmingsmark IK's performance. The match ended with a win for Hemmingsmark IK.
