When Peter Stolpe came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Björneborg BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Stolpe couldn't finish the play. Mattias Burman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Sonny Brun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Swedish House Mafia defense, Mattias Burman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sonny Brun. The Swedish House Mafia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sonny Brun should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Mattias Burman made the kick off in the second half. Peter Stolpe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Sonny Brun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Björneborg BF were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Swedish House Mafia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fredric Brolin took the corner. In the 66th minute, Gunnar Bergren had to leave the field with a concussion. 66 minutes into the game, Osvald Kuse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Swedish House Mafia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Björneborg BF the free kick. When Mattias Burman came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Björneborg BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mattias Burman couldn't finish the play. Björneborg BF played a much better game than Swedish House Mafia and deserved their victory. The Swedish House Mafia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
