A collision led to Cosmopolitan FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Josef Karlsson hit a great ball. Robert Fågel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peter Ahlrot kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Claes Skröder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agne Vallin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Hellström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Cosmopolitan FC's Josef Karlsson got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Cosmopolitan FC's Allan Hedlund got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Josef Karlsson succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. In the 36th minute, Josef Karlsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute of the match Melker Lind shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Agne Vallin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Allan Hedlund got free with Johan Clementsson in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Josef Karlsson made the kick off in the second half. If Robert Fågel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anders Pilgren hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Josef Karlsson kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Robert Fågel made a precise shot to the right of Agne Vallin. Cosmopolitan FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Cosmopolitan FC's Agne Vallin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claes Skröder in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claes Skröder in the 77th minute of play forced Cosmopolitan FC's goalkeeper Agne Vallin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Mangskog's Robert Fågel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Allan Hedlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Johan Clementsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Mangskog could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cosmopolitan FC throughout the match.
