Alf Eliasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Axel Bållström in the 4th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Alvar Linberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Milan's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvar Linberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alf Eliasson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alf Eliasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gottfrid Hellström in the 15th minute of the match. The supporters of AC Milan booed when Paltarna RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Bergqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lars Åström got free with Henrik Wiberg in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kurt Wallman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AC Milan's Gottfrid Hellström got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Paltarna RK's Olov Bergqvist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Henrik Wiberg. That made the score 1-2 after 29 minutes of play. AC Milan's Henrik Wiberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olov Bergqvist in the 33rd minute of play. Henrik Wiberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Westerberg in the 34th minute of play. If Ludwig Martinsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alvar Linberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alf Eliasson having to make a save. Lars Åström succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 41st playminute. In the 44th minute, Ludwig Öman had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evert Sundström during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. AC Milan's Sebastian Rang was substituted for Ludwig Öman. In the 45th minute, Evert Sundström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olov Bergqvist made a kick off. After 60 minutes, Dan Westerberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paltarna RK and the AC Milan players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Paltarna RK's Dan Westerberg got a free kick in the 61st minute. Gottfrid Hellström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, Paltarna RK's goalkeeper Alf Eliasson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gottfrid Hellström. Karl-Axel Bållström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Alf Eliasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Karl-Axel Bållström made a precise shot to the right of Alf Eliasson. Paltarna RK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Gottfrid Hellström did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-4 to the left of a surprised Alf Eliasson 74 minutes into the match. Henrik Wiberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evert Sundström in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Paltarna RK's Johnny Wallmark got a free kick in the 80th minute. The supporters of Paltarna RK booed when AC Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Axel Bållström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dan Westerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Henrik Wiberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl-Axel Bållström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 86 minutes of play Paltarna RK's Evert Sundström was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Evert Sundström hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. AC Milan played a much better game than Paltarna RK and deserved their victory. The Paltarna RK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
