Kurt Hellgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Grelsson having to interfere. Kurt Hellgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henning Grelsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Sebastian Johansson struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Henning Grelsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skara. If Kurt Hellgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henning Grelsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Johansson's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Johansson in the 30th minute of play forced N.I.X FK's goalkeeper Henning Grelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Skara booed when N.I.X FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Oskar Paulin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henning Grelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Johansson in the 31st minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christoffer Ros to make the kick off.
