When Mathias Åkesson fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Klintehamn FF's protests and gave Mathias Åkesson a yellow card for diving instead. Joseph Göransson shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After 5 played minutes Klintehamn FF got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Skytt. Holger Broberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Oskar Wall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Klintehamn FF's Holger Broberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Oskar Wall in the 9th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Östhammar's Uno Bergstedt got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 15th minute, Mark Söderström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jan-Åke Kämpe was extremely unlucky when he, in the 17th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jan-Åke Kämpe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven-Oskar Wall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holger Broberg having to interfere. Kalle Hasselqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Holger Broberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Mats Fanström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Söderström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Klintehamn FF getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Mark Söderström hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mark Söderström to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Klintehamn FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mats Gerdberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 54thth minute of the game Kalle Hasselqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Klintehamn FF's Holger Broberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Holger Broberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven-Oskar Wall in the 56th minute. If Kalle Hasselqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kalle Hasselqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Holger Broberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven-Oskar Wall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holger Broberg having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kalle Hasselqvist in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Holger Broberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kalle Hasselqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Holger Broberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kalle Hasselqvist in the 70th minute of play forced Klintehamn FF's goalkeeper Holger Broberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Östhammar's Sven-Oskar Wall got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute, August Zachrisson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven-Oskar Wall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Holger Broberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Holger Broberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kalle Hasselqvist in the 88th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Klintehamn FF's zone, Sven-Oskar Wall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Holger Broberg came out of the goal and Sven-Oskar Wall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Östhammar getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Kurt Kihlberg hit a great ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
