After 8 minutes, Villiam Blom mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Norrbotten and the Harestad players grew even worse after the yellow card. Harestad's Rickard Ekerot couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Norrbotten. 11 minutes into the match, FC Norrbotten's goal looked a bit too open when Wictor Snell came free, but Tord Lundgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Harestad's goalkeeper Bengt Abrahamsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carl Hedlund. In the 14thth minute of the game Bengt-Åke Nässén who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Norrbotten's Tord Lundgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th minute, FC Norrbotten's Gilbert Olofsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Harestad's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Carl Hedlund fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Bengt Abrahamsson was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Carl Hedlund capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carl Hedlund really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Alfred Lund's late challenge caught a FC Norrbotten's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfred Lund helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Norrbotten booed when Harestad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Lund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carl Hedlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Bengt Abrahamsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bengt Abrahamsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Olofsson in the 39th minute of the match. After 44 minutes, Melker Caspersson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Norrbotten and the Harestad players grew even worse after the yellow card. Melker Caspersson hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bengt-Åke Nässén made a kick off. Carl Hedlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Gilbert Olofsson made a precise shot to the right of Bengt Abrahamsson. Harestad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Bengt Abrahamsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carl Hedlund's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. After 70 minutes of play, FC Norrbotten's Carl Hedlund made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bengt Abrahamsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Wictor Snell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FC Norrbotten's Melker Caspersson got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute of the match Rickard Ekerot shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tord Lundgren showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gilbert Olofsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd match minute, FC Norrbotten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pelle Ek to maneuver through the defense. Rune Eklund's late challenge caught a Harestad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rune Eklund helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th match minute, FC Norrbotten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rune Eklund to maneuver through the defense. The referee gave Harestad a penalty, 90 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rickard Ekerot, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Norrbotten's Tord Lundgren. 5-1. Carl Hedlund might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bengt Abrahamsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carl Hedlund ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 97th minute, Rune Eklund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bengt Abrahamsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilbert Olofsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. There was no doubt that FC Norrbotten were the better team. FC Norrbotten's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
