The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bengt Abrahamsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Roger Ekström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Åke Nässén in the 18th minute of the match. Anders Wennersten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Bengt Abrahamsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 22 minutes, Bengt-Åke Nässén managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Harestad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bengt-Åke Nässén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd match minute, BBBBK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joakim Söderman to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in BBBBK's zone, Bengt-Åke Nässén stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Ekström came out of the goal and Bengt-Åke Nässén tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roger Ekström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Åke Nässén in the 26th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bengt-Åke Nässén in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger Ekström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Anders Wennersten came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the BBBBK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anders Wennersten couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Harestad's Karl-Johan Koch got a free kick in the 39th minute. Sture Åberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bengt Abrahamsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Wennersten, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Ola Hellsing's late challenge caught a BBBBK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ola Hellsing helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Anders Wennersten managed to get in a good position for a shot. BBBBK's supporters rose to their feet, but Anders Wennersten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bengt Abrahamsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Sture Åberg made the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, BBBBK's Bengt Abrahamsson threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sture Åberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bengt Abrahamsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sture Åberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. When Anders Wennersten came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the BBBBK fans jumped to their feet. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lars-Erik Sjöberg during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roger Ekström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harestad. A collision led to BBBBK getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Lars-Erik Sjöberg hit a great ball. Anders Wennersten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Bengt Abrahamsson made a huge save. If Anders Wennersten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th play minute Ivar Vollander came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bengt Abrahamsson. 0-1.
