Hans Jönsson charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hans Jönsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 3 played minutes Eriksberg FC got a freekick which was hit by Hans Jönsson. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Finman in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jack Sjö saved Eriksberg FC from getting behind. Patrik Ahlbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Jack Sjö tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Hans Jönsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Eriksberg FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Göran Rudkvist hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Bengt-Rune Hääger sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Eriksberg FC's Jack Sjö didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, Eriksberg FC's Hans Jönsson got a free kick in the 18th minute. Thomas Finman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Jack Sjö tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jack Sjö showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Finman in the 22nd minute of the match. A collision led to Falkenbergs FF getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Lucas Telin hit a great ball. If Kennet Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Eriksberg FC booed when Falkenbergs FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Åke Gallin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Falkenbergs FF's Dan Uter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olle Eklund in the 31st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kennet Olofsson in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dan Uter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Olle Eklund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dan Uter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Thomas Finman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Sjö having to interfere. Dan Uter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kennet Olofsson in the 43rd minute of the match. Eriksberg FC's Olle Eklund got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 45 minutes, Rutger Haglund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Falkenbergs FF and the Eriksberg FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olle Eklund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Kennet Olofsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dan Uter was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Dan Uter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olle Eklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dan Uter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kennet Olofsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Olle Eklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan-Åke Gallin during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Falkenbergs FF's Dan Uter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kennet Olofsson in the 83rd minute of play. After 84 played minutes Falkenbergs FF got a freekick which was hit by Kjell Biörkman. A hard shot by Lucas Telin from long distance, 91 minutes into the match, got Jack Sjö's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.
