After a defensive mix-up in Falkenbergs FF's zone, Åke Lindström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Uter came out of the goal and Åke Lindström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan-Åke Gallin kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Dan Uter came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by WeenZ United's Åke Lindström. But to his dismay, Åke Lindström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to WeenZ United getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Manfred Bogren hit a great ball. The supporters of Falkenbergs FF booed when WeenZ United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Lindgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of WeenZ United booed when Falkenbergs FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Åke Gallin didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Åke Lindström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Åke Gallin hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 38thth minute of the game Åke Lindström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Falkenbergs FF's Dan Uter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Falkenbergs FF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! In the 43rd minute there was a penalty for WeenZ United. Viktor Gadd stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dan Uter. 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bo Brodin to make the kick off. Dan Uter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Brodin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute Thomas Finman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melker Martinsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Åke Lindström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Dan Uter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, Falkenbergs FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Morgan Haraldsson to maneuver through the defense. Bo Brodin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Uter having to interfere. Falkenbergs FF's Dan Uter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Brodin in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, WeenZ United's Manfred Bogren got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute Patrik Ahlbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melker Martinsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrik Ahlbom blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melker Martinsson having to make a save. Bo Brodin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Uter having to interfere. After having played for 75 minutes, Åke Lindström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. WeenZ United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Åke Lindström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dan Uter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Åke Lindström in the 77th minute. When Patrik Ahlbom came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Falkenbergs FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrik Ahlbom couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Thomas Finman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melker Martinsson was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Falkenbergs FF's Thomas Finman got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Melker Martinsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Ahlbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 90th minute of the match Bengt-Rune Hääger shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Melker Martinsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Åke Lindström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Dan Uter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dan Uter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Brodin in the 97th minute of the match. The WeenZ United supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing WeenZ United would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
