The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lukas Bergman made a kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Folke Enegren could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Jörn Forssberg however easily saved by the left post. 76 minutes into the match, FC Glädjen's goal looked a bit too open when Bertil Bergfelt came free, but Jörn Forssberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orvar Britz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 77 minutes into the match. The score was 2-2 after a penalty in the 80th minute, where Österlövsta FF:s Henrik Duset tricked FC Glädjen:s Jörn Forssberg with a difficult ball by the left post. Sebastian Hökqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Hökqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sebastian Hökqvist hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match.
