The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludwig Larsfelt in the 3rd minute of play forced Löverpool's goalkeeper Elliot Holmgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ludwig Larsfelt took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elliot Holmgren. Jan-Olof Kullander hit a great ball. Elliot Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Strömberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the game, Ludwig Larsfelt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Elliot Holmgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mats Strömberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elliot Holmgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Bror Bjursell struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Roger Söderqwist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Löverpool. Vallvik's Mats Strömberg got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

After 52 played minutes Mats Strömberg rounded Löverpool's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. Elliot Holmgren was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Mats Strömberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mats Strömberg really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. After 62 played minutes Vallvik got a freekick which was hit by Edvin Nordin. In the 63rd minute of the match Karl-Oskar Classon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roger Söderqwist skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, Löverpool's Elliot Holmgren got control of the ball when Ludwig Larsfelt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roger Söderqwist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bror Bjursell in the 81st minute of play. After 83 played minutes Löverpool got a freekick which was hit by Ove Bergström. Ludwig Larsfelt struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Elliot Holmgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vallvik.
