Spectators: 7252 (Terracing: 5440, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Claes Tham kicked off to start the match. Claes Tham struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Martin Arhenius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Armenien FC. Claes Tham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Martin Arhenius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfta's Martin Arhenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claes Tham in the 7th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Claes Tham kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Martin Arhenius. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Lars-Erik Sundström kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. If Claes Tham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfta's Martin Arhenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claes Tham in the 21st minute of play. Yngve Eckegren in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Martin Arhenius, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Claes Tham managed to get in a good position for a shot. Armenien FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Claes Tham was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Arhenius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 30 minutes, Jan Bergman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Armenien FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Bergman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yngve Eckegren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Arhenius having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claes Tham in the 44th minute of play forced Alfta's goalkeeper Martin Arhenius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claes Tham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gunnar Hedlund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lars-Erik Sundström charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lars-Erik Sundström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd minute Claes Tham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Arhenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claes Tham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Arhenius having to interfere. When Claes Tham came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Armenien FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claes Tham couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yngve Eckegren in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Arhenius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rd minute, Claes Tham left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Armenien FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Yngve Eckegren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Armenien FC's Yngve Eckegren got a free kick in the 86th minute. When Claes Browall fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alfta's protests and gave Claes Browall a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Alfta getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Claes Browall hit a great ball. After 93 played minutes, Armenien FC's Oskar Höijer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Martin Arhenius came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Armenien FC reached it. Claes Tham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Arhenius having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Armenien FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
