Bengt-Arne Hägglund started the match with the kick off. Oskar Fanström struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Jonny Söderman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eneryda IK. Viktor Ahlbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 8 minutes of play, Eneryda IK's Oskar Fanström made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonny Söderman was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hampus Valström during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ärla IF's Hampus Valström got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 15th minute, Viktor Ahlbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Ärla IF's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Erik Palmkvist came free, but Jonny Söderman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Johannes Nyberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Erik Palmkvist in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonny Söderman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sven-Erik Palmkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jonny Söderman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl-Erik Grönberg charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Erik Grönberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hugo Martinsson, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jonny Söderman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Erik Palmkvist's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Sven-Erik Palmkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jonny Söderman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oskar Fanström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Eneryda IK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven-Erik Palmkvist made a kick off. Markus Käller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Arne Hägglund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Johannes Nyberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Markus Käller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 61 minutes, Elof Wester mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eneryda IK and the Ärla IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Eneryda IK's zone, Johannes Nyberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Markus Käller came out of the goal and Johannes Nyberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonny Söderman made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Oskar Fanström sent off a good shot on target. When Michael Isaksson fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eneryda IK's protests and gave Michael Isaksson a yellow card for diving instead. When Oskar Fanström came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Eneryda IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oskar Fanström couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the match, Eneryda IK's Oskar Fanström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonny Söderman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bengt-Arne Hägglund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 96 played minutes Ärla IF got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Arne Hägglund. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Erik Palmkvist got free with Jonny Söderman in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Sven-Erik Palmkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
