Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Knislinge BK's Henric Broman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 played minutes Henric Broman could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-0 into the left cross. Alvin Örtlund came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Jörn IF's Agne Bergvall. But to his dismay, Agne Bergvall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Åke Bergman in the 18th minute of play forced Knislinge BK's goalkeeper Alvin Örtlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pål Axelsson got free with Roger Björkkvist in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th match minute, Knislinge BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Danielsson to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Agne Bergvall's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvin Örtlund was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Stig Håning charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stig Håning the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Jörn IF booed when Knislinge BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig Håning didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Jörn IF's goalkeeper Roger Björkkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pål Axelsson. A collision led to Jörn IF getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Petter Ahlroth hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Karl-Åke Bergman made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 61 minutes, Pål Axelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knislinge BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pål Axelsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the game, one of Jörn IF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Knislinge BK a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eric Danielsson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Jörn IF's Roger Björkkvist. 2-1. 66 minutes into the game, Knislinge BK's Henric Broman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roger Björkkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 74th minute, Jörn IF's Karl-Åke Bergman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alvin Örtlund. Alvin Örtlund yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. In the 80th minute, Henric Broman made a precise shot to the right of Roger Björkkvist. Jörn IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. After a defensive mix-up in Jörn IF's zone, Henric Broman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Björkkvist came out of the goal and Henric Broman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henric Broman's late challenge caught a Jörn IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henric Broman helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Jörn IF booed when Knislinge BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig Håning didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Knislinge BK booed when Jörn IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikael Erserman didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pål Axelsson in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roger Björkkvist saved Jörn IF from getting behind. Jörn IF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
