The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Peking Animals getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Lars Simonsson hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Peking Animals's zone, Johannes Björkkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rickard Svensson came out of the goal and Johannes Björkkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jämjö FF's Martin Gustafsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Jämjö FF from getting a goal against them. 9 minutes into the match, Peking Animals's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Björkkvist came free, but Rickard Svensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Johannes Björkkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jämjö FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Johannes Björkkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rickard Svensson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rickard Svensson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johannes Björkkvist's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Peking Animals's Rickard Svensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Vennerkvist in the 15th minute of play. Mats Vennerkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Rickard Svensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Gustafsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Oskar Samuelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Martin Gustafsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Richard Stenqvist went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When Mats Vennerkvist came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Jämjö FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mats Vennerkvist couldn't finish the play. Rickard Svensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Vennerkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johannes Björkkvist in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rickard Svensson saved Peking Animals from getting behind. Rickard Svensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Björkkvist in the 40th minute of play. Rickard Svensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Vennerkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

Rickard Svensson was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Johannes Björkkvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gunnar Blomberg's late challenge caught a Peking Animals's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gunnar Blomberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th match minute, Jämjö FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunnar Blomberg to maneuver through the defense. Martin Gustafsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Oskar Samuelsson's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Richard Stenqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peking Animals's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard Stenqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The attack was good, but when Johannes Björkkvist in the 77th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 1-4 became the score in the 80th minute when Johannes Björkkvist elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 86th minute of the match, Johannes Björkkvist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rickard Svensson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 91 minutes into the match, Jämjö FF's Mats Vennerkvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rickard Svensson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Isac Almstedt's late challenge caught a Peking Animals's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isac Almstedt helped the player get up and apologised. Jämjö FF played a much better game than Peking Animals and deserved their victory. The Peking Animals players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
