Anders Browald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konrad Nordström, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When Oscar Hernström came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Västerfärnebo RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Hernström couldn't finish the play. Kristoffer Offendahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulf Grubb, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Ulf Grubb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristoffer Offendahl having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulf Grubb to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Västerfärnebo RK's goal looked a bit too open when Edwin Åman came free, but Anders Browald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Oscar Hernström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kristoffer Offendahl. Ystad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oscar Hernström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 61 played minutes Ystad got a freekick which was hit by Konrad Nordström. After a rather tough play, Västerfärnebo RK's Fred Arhenius got a free kick in the 66th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Konrad Nordström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ystad's supporters rose to their feet, but Konrad Nordström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anders Browald breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oscar Hernström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Kristoffer Offendahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar Hernström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute, Ystad's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Oscar Hernström fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Kristoffer Offendahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Grubb in the 85th minute of play. Folke Larsson kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Konrad Nordström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Browald having to interfere. Peter Stigsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Ystad fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Västerfärnebo RK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
