In the 3rd match minute, Munsö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johannes Kihlberg to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 4 minutes, Anton Broberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sodexo IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anton Broberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Munsö's Markus Ålberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvin Fagerberg in the 6th minute of play. Markus Ålberg made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Anton Broberg sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Munsö getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Simon Uggstedt hit a great ball. Edvin Fagerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Ålberg having to interfere. Anton Broberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Esbjörn Påk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ingemar Dahlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esbjörn Påk might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ingemar Dahlberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Esbjörn Påk ran back to his position shaking his head. Munsö's Torsten Ödman got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the game, Esbjörn Påk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ingemar Dahlberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 26 minutes into the game, Ulrik Andreasson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Munsö's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sodexo IF the free kick. After 26 played minutes Munsö got a freekick which was hit by Ulrik Andreasson. After 27 played minutes Sodexo IF's Anton Broberg stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Markus Ålberg stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Munsö of the goal. When Edvin Fagerberg came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Sodexo IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edvin Fagerberg couldn't finish the play. Ludwig Wickander's late challenge caught a Munsö's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ludwig Wickander helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st match minute, Sodexo IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludwig Wickander to maneuver through the defense. Markus Ålberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvin Fagerberg in the 33rd minute of play. Edvin Fagerberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edvin Fagerberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Johannes Kihlberg took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ingemar Dahlberg. Ingemar Dahlberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Esbjörn Påk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Munsö getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Joakim Tolsson hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvin Fagerberg in the 65th minute of play forced Munsö's goalkeeper Markus Ålberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torsten Ödman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingemar Dahlberg having to interfere. When Sixten Modig fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sodexo IF's protests and gave Sixten Modig a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sodexo IF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Ingemar Dahlberg, was totally fooled by Munsö's Nicklas Persson, who 75 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Joakim Tolsson kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Sodexo IF's Maximilian Holmgren couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 80th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Munsö. Anton Broberg struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Markus Ålberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sodexo IF. Torsten Ödman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 97 minutes into the match, Anton Broberg notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Munsö's Markus Ålberg. Markus Ålberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Munsö supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Munsö would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
