Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ledbergs IF's Magnus Dahlgren started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Örjan Haglund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Wiman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute Kristian Broberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sivert Åkerman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Magnus Dahlgren notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Tomtebackens IF's Örjan Haglund. Örjan Haglund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Örjan Haglund came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Ledbergs IF's Magnus Dahlgren. But to his dismay, Magnus Dahlgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 21st minute Karl-Erik Broberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sivert Åkerman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Ledbergs IF's goal looked a bit too open when Jarl Bark came free, but Sivert Åkerman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristian Broberg in the 23rd minute of play forced Ledbergs IF's goalkeeper Sivert Åkerman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sivert Åkerman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristian Broberg in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute Jesper Broberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sivert Åkerman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A very good chance. Ledbergs IF's Sivert Åkerman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesper Broberg in the 37th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Ledbergs IF's Folke Kock seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Folke Kock the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ledbergs IF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Folke Kock had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 46 played minutes Ledbergs IF got a freekick which was hit by Folke Kock. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kristian Broberg to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Kjell Deckberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Tomtebackens IF's Sivert Åkerman threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Karl-Erik Broberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Karl-Erik Johansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sivert Åkerman having to interfere. Örjan Haglund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Wiman in the 62nd minute of the match. Sven Wiman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven Wiman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Örjan Haglund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Ledbergs IF's goalkeeper Sivert Åkerman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jesper Broberg. Ledbergs IF's Sivert Åkerman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristian Broberg in the 76th minute of play. Sivert Åkerman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jesper Broberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 77 minute of play. Sivert Åkerman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristian Broberg in the 80th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomtebackens IF's Jarl Bark slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sivert Åkerman. That made the score 2-4 after 81 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Ledbergs IF defense, Jarl Bark kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sivert Åkerman. The Ledbergs IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sivert Åkerman should have stopped the shot.
