When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Karl-Johan Lundberg put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mattias Bjurström. Karl Örtlund charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl Örtlund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Karl Örtlund hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute Filiph Käller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Eskilsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabian Eskilsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiph Käller in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute Mattias Bergstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Bjurström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filiph Käller to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Filiph Käller managed to get in a good position for a shot. By kyrkby BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Filiph Käller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Eskilsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fredrik Nordström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabian Eskilsson. Eslöv's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mattias Bergstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 63 minutes, Filiph Käller made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Eslöv's Fabian Eskilsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. By kyrkby BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filiph Käller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Eslöv fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reine Vester in the 99th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabian Eskilsson saved Eslöv from getting behind. For all the effort they put into the match, the Eslöv players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for By kyrkby BF.
