The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eric Bogren during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eric Bogren hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the last second Anders Torsberg throw himself and got hold of the ball when Kennet Klintæus in the 30thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Börge Lundgren kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Valbo FK's Zebastian Blomqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils Lindberg in the 41st minute of play. A collision led to Jespers IF getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Börge Lundgren hit a great ball. Arman Alebom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nils Lindberg to make the kick off. Göran Lundström's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Zebastian Blomqvist skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Börge Lundgren was extremely unlucky when he, in the 58th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a defensive mix-up in Valbo FK's zone, Börge Lundgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zebastian Blomqvist came out of the goal and Börge Lundgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nils Lindberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zebastian Blomqvist having to interfere. Nils Lindberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Zebastian Blomqvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Jespers IF getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Börge Lundgren hit a great ball. After 76 played minutes Jespers IF got a freekick which was hit by Nils Lindberg. In the 77thth minute of the game Kennet Klintæus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jespers IF's Anders Torsberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stig-Arne Lövkvist hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Zebastian Blomqvist was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nils Lindberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 84 minute of play. In the 90th minute Kennet Klintæus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Torsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Arman Alebom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arman Alebom blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anders Torsberg having to make a save. The Jespers IF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
