Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aron Petersson took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rantaruntiringen's Aron Petersson got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Garpenberg IK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Aron Petersson 4 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Rutger Askestät made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Petersson in the 7th minute of play. Sten Samuelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rutger Askestät having to interfere. Rutger Askestät was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aron Petersson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 24 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sten Samuelsson got free with Rutger Askestät in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aron Petersson struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Rutger Askestät didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rantaruntiringen. Rutger Askestät showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Petersson in the 37th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the game, Peter Säf cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Mats Broman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peter Säf to make the kick off. With a little luck, Rantaruntiringen's Mats Broman got control of the ball when Georg Wallin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 56 minutes, Peter Säf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garpenberg IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Säf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute, Peter Säf reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mats Broman. The goal made the score 3-2. Georg Wallin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 65th minute. Garpenberg IK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 68th minute, Aron Petersson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rutger Askestät was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Aron Petersson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rutger Askestät having to make a save. Georg Wallin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mats Broman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Petersson in the 77th minute of play forced Garpenberg IK's goalkeeper Rutger Askestät to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aron Petersson in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rutger Askestät prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 82nd minute, Aron Petersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute, Rantaruntiringen's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Georg Wallin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Georg Wallin came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Garpenberg IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Georg Wallin couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute, Peter Säf reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mats Broman. The goal made the score 4-3. When Georg Wallin came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Garpenberg IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Georg Wallin couldn't finish the play.
