Spectators: 6667 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Peter Säf took the kick off in the first half of the match. Garpenberg IK's Rutger Askestät played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Stabbe in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th match minute, Garpenberg IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malcolm Öfverman to maneuver through the defense. Peter Säf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Mathias Nordmark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 9 minutes of play, Garpenberg IK's Georg Wallin made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mathias Nordmark was left in no man's land by his defense there! Georg Wallins short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Mathias Nordmark to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Dals Långed's Martin Bagge got a free kick in the 14th minute. A collision led to Dals Långed getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ingvar Åkerman hit a great ball. Peter Säf was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. Garpenberg IK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 22 minutes into the game, Peter Jonasson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dals Långed's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garpenberg IK the free kick. After 22 played minutes Dals Långed got a freekick which was hit by Peter Jonasson. Garpenberg IK's Georg Wallin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 25th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Georg Wallin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Leonard Stabbe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Peter Säf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mathias Nordmark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Säf in the 44th minute of the match. Mathias Nordmark made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Georg Wallin sent off a good shot on target. Arne Björkdal charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arne Björkdal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes Dals Långed got a freekick which was hit by Arne Björkdal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peter Jonasson to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Dals Långed's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Säf came free, but Mathias Nordmark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peter Säf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Nordmark having to interfere. Dals Långed's Mathias Nordmark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Säf in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of Garpenberg IK booed when Dals Långed was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne Björkdal didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Peter Säf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomas Mikaelsson's late challenge caught a Garpenberg IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thomas Mikaelsson helped the player get up and apologised. Thomas Mikaelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Mathias Nordmark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Säf in the 77th minute of play. Thomas Mikaelsson hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Peter Säf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rutger Askestät, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Leonard Stabbe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
