Nynäshamn RK's Jens-Åke Axelsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Nynäshamn RK from getting a goal against them. After 4 played minutes Nynäshamn RK got a freekick which was hit by Torbjörn Nordstedt. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Nynäshamn RK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rantaruntiringen:s goal. Axel Ahlström shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Wictor Alströmmer lost his temper 12 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rantaruntiringen! In the 14th minute there was a penalty for Nynäshamn RK. Georg Biörkquist stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mats Broman. 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, Nynäshamn RK's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Axelsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sten Samuelsson. In the 27thth minute of the game Karl-Michael Lundkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rantaruntiringen's Mats Broman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Larsson in the 30th minute of play forced Rantaruntiringen's goalkeeper Mats Broman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Edward Larsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edward Larsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Mats Broman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rantaruntiringen's Mats Broman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Michael Lundkvist in the 42nd minute of play. Karl-Michael Lundkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mats Broman having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Karl-Michael Lundkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mats Broman. Rantaruntiringen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl-Michael Lundkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karl-Michael Lundkvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Nynäshamn RK's Edward Larsson got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th match minute, Rantaruntiringen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustav Ståhlberg to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Nynäshamn RK's Karl-Michael Lundkvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mats Broman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Filip Bergqvist hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Jens-Åke Axelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sten Samuelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edward Larsson scored 0-4 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mats Broman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Rantaruntiringen fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nynäshamn RK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
