Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Peter Säf kicked off to start the match. Peter Säf struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Mats Pihlgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garpenberg IK. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georg Wallin in the 5th minute of play forced Ervalla BK's goalkeeper Mats Pihlgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Säf kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Rolf Skålberg made a precise shot to the right of Rutger Askestät. Garpenberg IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Rutger Askestät was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Ralf Walmarsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ralf Walmarsson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. If Ralf Walmarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolf Skålberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Rutger Askestät made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ralf Walmarsson in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rutger Askestät prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ervalla BK's Mats Pihlgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Säf in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Ervalla BK getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Gustav Forss hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Ralf Walmarsson took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Rutger Askestät to make any attempt to save it. Ervalla BK's Mats Bark shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 36th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rutger Askestät but with some difficulty. After 40 minutes of play, Ervalla BK's Rolf Skålberg made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rutger Askestät was left in no man's land by his defense there! Peter Säf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Mats Pihlgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ralf Walmarsson was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes, Michael Sundström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ervalla BK and the Garpenberg IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Ervalla BK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Garpenberg IK:s goal. Rutger Askestät showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolf Skålberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. When Ralf Walmarsson came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Ervalla BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ralf Walmarsson couldn't finish the play. 60 minutes into the game, Freddie Johnsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ervalla BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garpenberg IK the free kick. Freddie Johnsson hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Rolf Skålberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67thth minute of the game Rolf Skålberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garpenberg IK's Rutger Askestät was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Rolf Skålberg sped through Garpenberg IK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rutger Askestät. Anthon Käller's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mats Pihlgren firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 83rd match minute, Garpenberg IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Axel Isaksson to maneuver through the defense. After 86 played minutes Ervalla BK got a freekick which was hit by Freddie Johnsson. Rolf Skålberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ervalla BK's Rolf Skålberg got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 95 minutes, Rolf Skålberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ervalla BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolf Skålberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ervalla BK fully deserved thier win.
