Spectators: 7222 (Terracing: 5418, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) Sandhamn FK's Carl Adelsköld started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes, Viggo Brandin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sandhamn FK and the Strömsbruk players grew even worse after the yellow card. Viggo Brandin hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, Kevin Forsberg sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sandhamn FK's Sten Boström didn't even have to move. Sten Boström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Nilsson in the 8th minute of play. Samuel Stenkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuel Stenkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Strömsbruk's Samuel Stenkvist got a free kick in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Carl Adelsköld recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hannes Siöman. Carl Adelsköld showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Kevin Torstensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Hannes Siöman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sten Boström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Nilsson in the 20th minute of play. Kjell-Arne Nilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christopher Nordström's late challenge caught a Strömsbruk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christopher Nordström helped the player get up and apologised. After 24 played minutes Sandhamn FK got a freekick which was hit by Christopher Nordström. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kjell-Arne Nilsson in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sten Boström saved Sandhamn FK from getting behind. If Kevin Torstensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 36 minutes, Kevin Torstensson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sandhamn FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Torstensson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. During the 38th minute of the match Viggo Brandin completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Viggo Brandin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Sandhamn FK getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Viggo Brandin hit a great ball. Hannes Siöman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kevin Torstensson went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kjell-Arne Nilsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sten Boström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell-Arne Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kjell-Arne Nilsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sten Boström having to make a save. Sten Boström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjell-Arne Nilsson in the 69th minute of the match. Kevin Torstensson struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Hannes Siöman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sandhamn FK. In the 83rd match minute, Sandhamn FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Oskar Nyqvist to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the game, one of Sandhamn FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 91 minutes, Strömsbruk's Kevin Forsberg got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Sten Boström. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Strömsbruk had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
