Spectators: 7203 (Terracing: 5404, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Karl-Johan Beckström kicked off to start the match. Jens-Ola Fanström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute of the match Alf Nyman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emil Jakobsson skillfully saved the ball. Östra Frölunda FK's Karl-Johan Beckström got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnäsvall IFK's Sigvard Kjellbom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Arnäsvall IFK from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Arnäsvall IFK's Hjalmar Åström got a free kick in the 18th minute. The supporters of Östra Frölunda FK booed when Arnäsvall IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Olof Wallmark didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Arnäsvall IFK's Timmy Olofsson got a free kick in the 26th minute. Sture Albom, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Emil Jakobsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ola Fanström in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, Östra Frölunda FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Drewitz to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Östra Frölunda FK's goalkeeper Emil Jakobsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emil Jakobsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ola Fanström, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Arnäsvall IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Johan Beckström came free, but Sigvard Kjellbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sigvard Kjellbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Johan Beckström in the 49th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Jens-Ola Fanström made the kick off in the second half. Björn Snäll who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Emil Jakobsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Eskil Låsberg's late challenge caught a Arnäsvall IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eskil Låsberg helped the player get up and apologised. Eskil Låsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. If Björn Snäll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 69 minutes into the match, Arnäsvall IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Adelsköld came free, but Sigvard Kjellbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Östra Frölunda FK's Hugo Ugla got a free kick in the 70th minute. After some careless play in the Arnäsvall IFK defense, Karl-Johan Beckström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sigvard Kjellbom. The Arnäsvall IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sigvard Kjellbom should have stopped the shot. If Jens-Ola Fanström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sigvard Kjellbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Johan Beckström, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Björn Snäll succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 84th playminute. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Karl-Johan Beckström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Östra Frölunda FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Johan Beckström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sigvard Kjellbom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Karl-Johan Beckström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Östra Frölunda FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Johan Beckström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sigvard Kjellbom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute, Jens-Ola Fanström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
