Jens-Ola Fanström charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jens-Ola Fanström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Arnäsvall IFK's Björn Snäll got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 9 minutes into the match, Elof Matsson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Arnäsvall IFK's Sigvard Kjellbom. Sigvard Kjellbom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 12th minute, Emil Eliasson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sigvard Kjellbom was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 16th minute Emil Eliasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigvard Kjellbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valter Ekström struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Sigvard Kjellbom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borgholm. If Elof Matsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emil Eliasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sigvard Kjellbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Eliasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valter Ekström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Sigvard Kjellbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emil Eliasson in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sigvard Kjellbom saved Arnäsvall IFK from getting behind. Timmy Olofsson kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Jan Mickelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Sigvard Kjellbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elof Matsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Emil Eliasson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sigvard Kjellbom having to make a save. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Arnäsvall IFK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emil Eliasson was slow to take the kick. During this time Borgholm's players had a chance to rest. Elliot Eriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After having played for 65 minutes, Emil Eliasson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borgholm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emil Eliasson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnäsvall IFK's Sigvard Kjellbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Ekström in the 80th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Sigvard Kjellbom successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sigvard Kjellbom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elof Matsson in the 84th minute. If Emil Eliasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 88 minutes, Emil Eliasson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The supporters of Borgholm booed when Arnäsvall IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Olof Wallmark didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 96 minutes, Emil Eliasson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borgholm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emil Eliasson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Borgholm's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
