An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Ola Fanström in the 24th minute of play forced Skivarp's goalkeeper Henry Svensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Arnäsvall IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Per Göransson came free, but Sigvard Kjellbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Arnäsvall IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Ola Fanström to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Arnäsvall IFK booed when Skivarp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arman Abrahamsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Per Göransson sped through Arnäsvall IFK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sigvard Kjellbom. Per Göransson struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Sigvard Kjellbom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skivarp. Arman Abrahamsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Sigvard Kjellbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henry Svensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Björn Snäll in the 48th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
