Jens-Ola Fanström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Emil Jakobsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnäsvall IFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With his leg Emil Jakobsson managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Arnäsvall IFK's Björn Snäll fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Ola Fanström in the 42nd minute of play forced Östra Frölunda FK's goalkeeper Emil Jakobsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Arnäsvall IFK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Gilbert Adelsköld managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sigvard Kjellbom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Östra Frölunda FK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
