Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sören Kollberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Brunk FC's zone, Vilgot Björnsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mats Jönsätt came out of the goal and Vilgot Björnsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th minute, Sandöverken IK's Daniel Lilja ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mats Jönsätt. Mats Jönsätt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After having played for 18 minutes, Vilgot Björnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sandöverken IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vilgot Björnsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Brunk FC defense, Vilgot Björnsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mats Jönsätt. The Brunk FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mats Jönsätt should have stopped the shot. Karl-Åke Forsell charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Åke Forsell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oliver Haraldsson had in the 30thth minute some difficulties stopping Isaac Bergqvist's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 32 minutes of play, Sandöverken IK's Vilgot Björnsson made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mats Jönsätt was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th minute, Vilgot Björnsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nils Bogren struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Mats Jönsätt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sandöverken IK. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vilgot Björnsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Brunk FC's zone, Vilgot Björnsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mats Jönsätt came out of the goal and Vilgot Björnsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nils Bogren struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Mats Jönsätt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sandöverken IK. After 63 played minutes Brunk FC got a freekick which was hit by Marko Alstedt. Mats Jönsätt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vilgot Björnsson's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 65th match minute, Brunk FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Holmgren to maneuver through the defense. Mats Jönsätt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilgot Björnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mats Jönsätt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilgot Björnsson in the 68th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vilgot Björnsson in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mats Jönsätt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vilgot Björnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Lilja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Vilgot Björnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 85 minutes, Nils Bogren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sandöverken IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils Bogren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mats Jönsätt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Pedersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Nils Bogren might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mats Jönsätt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nils Bogren ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 93rd minute of the match Axel Åberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mats Jönsätt skillfully saved the ball. Sandöverken IK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
