Oxhagen Deluxe's Gösta Ahlstedt got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Östhammar's zone, Jens-Erik Bergendahl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bengt Granqvist came out of the goal and Jens-Erik Bergendahl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Jens-Erik Bergendahl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oxhagen Deluxe's supporters rose to their feet, but Jens-Erik Bergendahl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bengt Granqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bengt-Åke Finsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustav Damm having to interfere. In the 29th minute Bengt-Åke Finsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustav Damm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Isak Källberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustav Damm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Åke Finsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michel Lundgren charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michel Lundgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute, one of Östhammar:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Östhammar. When the match had been going on for 43 minutes, Oxhagen Deluxe's Oskar Wiberg got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Bengt Granqvist. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Isak Källberg made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Oxhagen Deluxe's goalkeeper Gustav Damm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Östhammar's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Erik Bergendahl came free, but Bengt Granqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Jens-Erik Bergendahl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oxhagen Deluxe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0.
