The Älghult RK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Arne Henriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pär Stensson in the 24th minute of the match. Ingvar Biörkquist charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ingvar Biörkquist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 24 played minutes Timmershults BOIS got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Biörkquist. In the 26th minute of the match Gilbert Skålberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arne Henriksson skillfully saved the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Timmy Nordström was the one to do the kick off. Jens-Åke Stålman came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Timmershults BOIS's Charlie Petersson. But to his dismay, Charlie Petersson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 56th minute, Elliot Pihlgren made a precise shot to the right of Jens-Åke Stålman. Älghult RK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Karl Fristedt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arne Henriksson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Timmershults BOIS's Andreas Helström got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute, Sivert Lundgren sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Timmershults BOIS's Arne Henriksson didn't even have to move. In the 62nd minute, Philip Nordlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Timmershults BOIS's Philip Nordlund got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 77th minute of the match Eric Fastesson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jens-Åke Stålman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Karl Fristedts short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Arne Henriksson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Arne Henriksson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sivert Lundgren in the 81st minute. When Ingvar Biörkquist was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 84 minutes had been played.
