Arne Henriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zebastian Wennerberg in the 25th minute of play. Ingvar Biörkquist hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Hammarby IF's Carl Boklund got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 29 minutes of play, Hammarby IF's Carl Boklund made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arne Henriksson was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Hammarby IF's Zebastian Wennerberg in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Timmershults BOIS's goalie prevented a goal. Carl Boklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Arne Henriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, Timmershults BOIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charlie Petersson to maneuver through the defense. Hammarby IF were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Timmershults BOIS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Albert Åström took the corner. Hammarby IF's Albert Åström was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arne Henriksson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 47thth minute of the game Carl Boklund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Timmershults BOIS's Arne Henriksson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Timmershults BOIS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hammarby IF were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elliot Pihlgren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Timmershults BOIS's Arne Henriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Boklund in the 51st minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Zebastian Wennerberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 60th minute, Zebastian Wennerberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hammarby IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Carl Boklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Henriksson having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Zebastian Wennerberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hammarby IF's Viktor Kvick got his second yellow card of the match in the 84th minute. The referee ordered Viktor Kvick off the ground. Viktor Kvick hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Zebastian Wennerberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arne Henriksson. Timmershults BOIS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zebastian Wennerberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When the match was over Hammarby IF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Timmershults BOIS throughout the match.
