Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Karl Fristedt made the kick off which started today's match. Älghult RK's Jens-Åke Stålman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Älghult RK from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Örsjö FF's Gunnar Hök slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jens-Åke Stålman. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. 24 minutes into the game, Örsjö FF's Gunnar Hök nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jens-Åke Stålman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Älghult RK's Pär Stensson got a free kick in the 27th minute. With an all-out effort, Örsjö FF's Jens-Åke Stålman threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Erland Nyberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 31st minute, Gunnar Hök ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jens-Åke Stålman was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 36th minute, Bengt-Rune Lundhberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl Fristedt in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Åke Ödmann saved Örsjö FF from getting behind. When Karl Fristedt came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Älghult RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl Fristedt couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, Gunnar Hök made a precise shot to the right of Jens-Åke Stålman. Älghult RK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

52 minutes into the match, Älghult RK's goal looked a bit too open when Erland Nyberg came free, but Jens-Åke Stålman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erland Nyberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sivert Lundgren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Åke Ödmann having to make a save. Pär Stensson hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Fristedt in the 67th minute of play forced Örsjö FF's goalkeeper Åke Ödmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gunnar Hök scored 5-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jens-Åke Stålman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Örsjö FF getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Bror Kleen hit a great ball. Jens-Åke Stålman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Hök in the 75th minute of play. Karl Fristedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sivert Lundgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jerry Henriksson might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Åke Ödmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jerry Henriksson ran back to his position shaking his head. After 84 minutes, Christian Jönsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Örsjö FF and the Älghult RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gilbert Skålberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Åke Ödmann. Örsjö FF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Erland Nyberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Örsjö FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Örsjö FF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Älghult RK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
