But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johan Magnusson couldn't finish the play. Arne Henriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Linus Boman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Mean Machines booed when Timmershults BOIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Biörkquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Linus Boman came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Mean Machines fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Linus Boman couldn't finish the play. Johan Magnusson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Henriksson having to interfere. Arne Henriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Magnusson, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Timmershults BOIS's Elliot Pihlgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gösta Sigfridsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Linus Boman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Leif Ekberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
