The Fc Gunnars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kurt Asplund should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Torbjörn Dahlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Gunnars's supporters rose to their feet, but Torbjörn Dahlberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aleksander Björling breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 16 minutes into the match, IF Ejset's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Arvidsson came free, but Aleksander Björling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Torbjörn Dahlberg sped through IF Ejset's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aleksander Björling. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fc Gunnars's goalkeeper Kurt Asplund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

Fc Gunnars's Kurt Asplund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Fc Gunnars from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Arvidsson in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aleksander Björling prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th minute Fc Gunnars were awarded a corner. Ralf Blomberg went to the cornerflag to take it. After having played for 62 minutes, Torbjörn Dahlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oscar Håkansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Aleksander Björling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michael Odén hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Torbjörn Dahlberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torbjörn Dahlberg in the 85th minute of play forced IF Ejset's goalkeeper Aleksander Björling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Torbjörn Dahlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 4-1 became the score in the 92nd minute when Jonas Arvidsson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
