Granit Gaming's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rimbo IF the free kick. After 16 played minutes Granit Gaming got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Östensson. If Ulf Asmundsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paul Wennerström in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anton Löfdahl saved Rimbo IF from getting behind. Rimbo IF's Jonny Böcklund got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nils-Erik Vinström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Zander having to interfere. Gabriel Zander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nils-Erik Vinström's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Gabriel Zander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Erik Vinström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anton Löfdahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Wennerström in the 35th minute of the match. Sivert Danielsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Anton Löfdahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paul Wennerström was the one to do the kick off. Anton Löfdahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Wennerström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paul Wennerström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Anton Löfdahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Paul Wennerström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sivert Danielsson got free with Anton Löfdahl in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anton Löfdahl came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Granit Gaming's Sivert Danielsson. But to his dismay, Sivert Danielsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Gabriel Zander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils-Erik Vinström in the 85th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Ove Nyström during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th match minute, Granit Gaming was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Ove Nyström to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Granit Gaming booed when Rimbo IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harald Eklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Jonny Böcklund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Zander was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Jonny Böcklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Gabriel Zander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes in the game, Jonny Böcklund dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. When the match was over Granit Gaming could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rimbo IF throughout the match.
